Fast Flip For Flowers?

Billionaire J. Christopher Flowers has put his Manhattan mansion on the market for $23M, the New York Observer says. The 48-year-old financier and former Goldman Sachs partner is asking for $6M more than he paid for the property, which he bought a mere three months ago.

Renovations on the 21-room, 11,200-square-foot space are halfway complete, though these renovations are not cited as cause for the monstrous markup. The 87-year-old building with a limestone façade is located on Manhattan's Upper East Side, just 50 meters from Central Park.

Naturally, location is this estate's biggest selling-point. Located on 73rd Street, this pricey palace sits just between the "too busy" 60s and the "too high" 80s.

The mammoth fixer-upper isn't landscaped, but does come with a rooftop garden, backyard, and "a parlor-floor drawing room with three sets of floor-to-ceiling French windows."

Six years ago, the same property sold for $6.8M.
